Madison Pike Covington, KY. Directions: I275 west to exit 80. Turn south on
Rt17 procede 1 1/2 miles. Turn Right in to the Pioneer Park. (Thank you

Fort Thomas

FT Thomas Dog Park. Very nice wooded park on a hill with
running water, benches, and a short trail. Many former visitors of the
Anderson, OH and Newtown/Anderson, OH parks are now visiting Ft Thomas. Lots
of friendly dogs & people and there is a separate small dog area. Location:
Mayfield Drive (dead ends into park). Directions: Exit I-275 at Ft
Thomas/Grand Ave. Turn left at the BP station and follow this curvy road for
about 2 miles. Mayfield is a left turn right after the flashing stoplight.
Follow Mayfield all the way back through the park and the dog park is in the

water, partially wooded, agility equipment. Sponsored by L.I.F.E. House and
non euthanasia rescue center. Location: East Frankfort Park, Frankfort

Park. Location: 3950 Madison Pike. Directions: I275 to exit 80, south on
route 17 for 1.5 miles. Or from 75 get off Kyles Ln. go left off exit, turn

Coldstream Park. Two dog parks in one. Two very
large fully fenced off-leash dog parks side by side. One designated for small
or fragile dogs the other free for all. Location: Off of new town pike rd.
Next to UK coldstream reasearch campus and behind the Hotel. (Thank you Dana

A large area where dogs can run leash free. Location: Masterson Station Park
out Newtown Pike. Directions: Go out Newtown Pike from Lexington. Park is on

Go to the web site to get a permit. Off leash dog park inside state park.
Location: 3000 Freys Hills Road. Directions: From I-64 = Take EXIT 19
to northbound Gene Snyder Freeway. Follow the Gene Snyder Freeway to EXIT 32
and turn right at the end of the ramp onto WESTPORT ROAD. Go approximately
0.75 miles and take a left onto FREYS HILL ROAD. Go approximately 0.4 miles
and turn left onto the small road just before you get to the E.P. "Tom"
Sawyer State Park entrance. Follow the road back to the dog park. From
I-71 = Take EXIT 9-A to southbound Gene Snyder Freeway. Follow the Gene
Snyder Freeway to EXIT 32 and turn right at the end of the ramp onto
WESTPORT ROAD. Go approximately 0.75 miles and take a left onto FREYS HILL
ROAD. Go approximately 0.4 miles and turn left onto the small road just
before you get to the E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park entrance. Follow the road
back to the dog park. From Hurstbourne Parkway = If you are traveling
north on Hurstbourne, take a right onto WESTPORT (if you are going south,
you'll take a left onto WESTPORT ROAD). Go to the first stop light and take
a right onto FREYS HILL ROAD. Go approximately 0.4 miles and turn left onto
the small road just before you get to the E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park
entrance. Follow the road back to the dog park.
Paris
- Patrick Brannon Dog Park. Opened June 10,
2007. 3 acre park. Double gated, fenced, running water, partially wooded, five
benches & beautiful creek setting. City owned park sponsored by PAWS.
Location: Fords Mill Road Just off Paris bypass, behind fire station.
Directions: From Lexington, take US 68, the beautiful Paris Pike, north toward
Paris. At the second stoplight, turn left on the bypass. At the second
stoplight, turn left on to Fords Mill Road. Go 300 feet, park on the left.
