North Dakota

 

Bowman

  • Bark Park. Location: Just northwest of the James baseball field complex -- north of Bowman, ND near US Highway 85. Directions: Take US Highway 85 to Bowman. Turn at James Field. Go West and take the first right onto a paved road. Road will curve west again. Bark Park is to your right. (Thank you Sarah Snavely)

Fargo

  • Fargo Dog Park.  Fargo, ND. Dog park - no leashes. Water available (during the summer season) but bring your own just in case! There are some benches, picnic tables, and a shelter for shade. There are separate areas for big dogs and small dogs. There are bags provided for picking up after your dogs. Location: 45th Street and 9th Ave South. Directions: Take 45th St Exit off I-94. Dog Fun Etiquette
  1. Make sure to bring something (like a pooper scooper or bags) to pick up the mess your dog(s) make. Always clean up after your dog.
  2. Bring some water for your dog and a leash (just in case)
  3. Don't bring your dog if it is aggressive
  4. Don't let your pet wander too far. Always keep an eye on them.
  5. If the park is near a residential area, minimize the barking.
