Indian Brook Reservoir. A trail along the reservoir. Dogs must be kept
on a leash in the parking lots, picnic area adjacent to the dam and the
water in front of these areas. Dogs are allowed to be off leash beginning
at the trail head past the last parking lot on the east side of the
reservoir and beyond the trail head at the lower parking lot on the south
end of the reservoir. Dogs must respond to voice commands, cannot chase
the wildlife in the park, and must be within the owner's vision at all

Hartford

Watson Upper Valley Dog Park. Opened June 07. Off-leash dog park about
1 1/2 acres. Our group, the Upper Valley Dog Park Supporters, have
partnered with the Town of Hartford, Vt, Parks & Recreation Dept. They are
providing the land and liability and we (UVDPS) are raising the funding
for the construction and annual maintenance of the park. It is our hope to
begin in March and open by June-July. Location: It is located on route 14
W, 1 mile west of the Hartford Town Hall. Directions: It is centrally
located just off I89N at exit 1, bare rt. towards White River Juction, at
the second light turn lt. on rte. 5. go tonext light and turn lt. onto
rte. 14W. It is about 3/4 mile on the left, Watson Park. (Thank you Leslie

Manchester
Vermont Dog Park. Our Manchester Vermont Dog Park is in a designated
part of the Dana Thompson Park and Recreational Area, easily located on
Recreational Park Road on Bonnet Street/Route 30. Go to our Directions page
for an interactive map. Location: 340 Recreation Park Road. Directions: The
Manchester Dog Park is located at the Dana L. Thompson Recreation Center.
Drive in to the parking area by Applejack Field (fenced athletic field); the
dog park is on the opposite end of the track (left of parking area). (Thank

Burlington
- Patchen Road. Leash free area. It's an
unofficial dog park. It is an old baseball field that is not completely
fenced in, but here are minimal hiking trails beyond it where the dogs can
run free. It's accessible year round. Parking is available. Location:

St. Johnsbury

Mountain. 150 acres to explore leash free, dog chapel, art gallery
(dogs welcome leash free at all places!). It is Vermont artist Stephen
Huneck's mission to make the world a dog friendly place to be. At Dog
Mountain his artwork is displayed, including a chapel he has created with
the sole purpose of honoring animals who have passed away. Photos of pets
from across the globe adorn the walls and are all placed there in
remembrance by their family members. There are 150 wooded acres with
trails for dogs and their companions to hike and explore. Dogs are welcome
in the gallery and dog trets are always available! Location: 143 Parks
